"The voyeuristic tendency we all have in common forces us to keep looking at Marras' paintings, compelling us to invade these moments of solitude. Occasionally though, for just a moment, you get the feeling you are the one being watched."
Marra generally uses undiluted oils to create his work. He uses a contemporary blend of influences from german expressionism and the London school. We are very pleased to be working with Marra at this exciting stage of his career and look forward to exhibiting his exceptional portfolio over the coming months.

Several examples from Marra's portfolio were featured in the
'Face Value' exhibition at Blackfriars Arts Centre in Boston, during September 2006. He featured in 'After Adam', a selected group exhibition of male nude studies at Three Cups Gallery in Ely in early 2007 and then at Artshed, Ware, in their June Exhibition.

Enzo Marra is based in the vibrant city of Brighton on the south coast of England. He produces succinct, but evocative (and sometimes disturbing) portraiture. Often considering his subjects from a slightly voyeuristic perspective, he leaves us with the feeling that we are watching someone without their knowledge. It's that voyeuristic tendency we all seem to have in common that forces us to keep looking at his paintings, compelling us to invade these moments of solitude. Occasionally though, for just a moment, you get the feeling you are the one being watched.
